Our assignment with Gerard Unger was
to design a typeface for a specific purpose and immediately apply it to
a product. I chose to make something for the school library. Inspired by bookshelves filled with books in various positions (vertical & horizontal) I designed this very simple multi-master typeface. The application on the poster is just one example of how the typeface can be applied to the visual identity of the library.
